A custom bike is a motorcycle less than 20 years old with custom parts or equipment in excess of $5,000 or a limited production, and a collector’s motorcycle is 20 years or older. Trikes are three-wheeled vehicles equipped with a motorcycle engine or Volkswagen engine designed for street use as opposed to an all terrain three-wheeled vehicle that is only used for off road driving.
